Professional Profile

I am a final-year Civil Engineering student at Universitas Pertamina (GPA 3.43/4.00) with hands-on experience spanning site supervision, construction quality control, architectural project coordination, and geospatial research. My academic and professional background bridges both field construction and coastal engineering — positioning me as a versatile entry-level candidate for roles in Construction Management, Site Engineering, Project Engineering, and Port & Coastal Engineering.

Currently completing my undergraduate thesis on Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) analysis at the Port of Tanjung Priok, I have developed strong technical competencies in coastal hazard assessment, geospatial data processing, and infrastructure vulnerability mapping — skills directly applicable to port planning and coastal infrastructure development.

Beyond research, I bring real-world construction experience: supervising a full construction cycle of a 3-storey mixed-use building as site supervisor and owner's representative, and serving as Personal Assistant to an Architect across two commercial fit-out projects in Jakarta. These experiences have built my ability to coordinate multi-discipline teams (structural, MEP, contractor), manage project documentation, conduct field inspections, and deliver client-facing reports.

Career Target
Construction Engineer · Site Engineer · Project Engineer · Port & Coastal Engineer

Core Strengths

  • Direct field experience in construction supervision, material inspection, and QC/QA
  • Coastal vulnerability research using CVI methodology at an active international port
  • Multi-discipline coordination across architecture, structure, and MEP teams
  • Proficiency in engineering software: AutoCAD, SAP2000, ETABS, QGIS, HEC-RAS, Abaqus, Civil 3D
  • Strong technical reporting, documentation, and client communication skills
  • Conversational English and Mandarin — ready for international project environments

Final Year Research

Method
Modified Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI)
Location
Port of Tanjung Priok, Jakarta
Period
Feb 2025 – Jun 2026 · Universitas Pertamina
Focus
Coastal hazard assessment & shoreline erosion risk
Tools
QGIS, Arcgis, tidal datasets, bathymetric data, wave analysis
Application
Port planning & coastal zone management

This research conducted a comprehensive coastal vulnerability assessment at the Port of Tanjung Priok — Indonesia's largest and busiest port — using the Coastal Vulnerability Index (CVI) method. Unlike standard CVI approaches, this study incorporated both physical parameters (geomorphology, coastal elevation, shoreline change rate, significant wave height, and mean tidal range) and anthropogenic factors such as coastal protection structures and port infrastructure.

Geospatial data from multiple sources were processed and integrated in QGIS to generate coastal vulnerability maps across the study area. The research evaluated the effectiveness of existing coastal engineering structures — seawalls, breakwaters — in reducing wave energy and mitigating shoreline erosion. Final outputs included technical vulnerability maps and documentation formatted to support coastal zone management and port infrastructure planning decisions.

Key Contributions

  • Applied modified CVI methodology to a major active Indonesian port — rare for an undergraduate thesis
  • Integrated multi-parameter geospatial datasets (tidal, wave, bathymetric, shoreline change) using QGIS
  • Assessed performance of existing coastal structures (seawall, breakwater) in mitigating coastal hazards
  • Developed vulnerability maps applicable to port infrastructure planning and coastal zone management
  • Produced technical documentation aligned with coastal engineering standards
